Keystone’s DIY Repair Program gives owners the option to complete eligible, simple warranty repairs themselves with materials and how-to resources. If you’re comfortable with the work, it may save a trip to the dealership. Contact Owner Relations first to confirm whether your RV and repair qualify.

What does the DIY Repair Program include?

The program combines repair resources with assistance for qualifying warranty concerns:

  • How-to videos and support articles: Instructions that help you understand the task before deciding whether to proceed.
  • Parts assistance: Materials may be provided for approved repairs within the applicable limited warranty terms.
  • Owner Relations support: A contact for discussing the concern and determining whether the program is suitable.

Participation is optional. You are not required to perform your own warranty repairs. Get Replacement Parts - Keystone RV

Which repairs may qualify?

The program focuses on straightforward repairs, such as replacing:

  • Blinds and shades
  • Interior trim
  • Cabinet doors
  • Door catches
  • Window screens and handles
  • Stove and sink covers
  • Vent covers

Eligibility depends on the specific concern and the work involved. Review the procedure, tools, and replacement-part requirements before committing to the repair.

How do you get started?

  1. Confirm the concern. Check the operating instructions for your RV or component to rule out an unfamiliar setting or procedure.
  2. Submit a request. Use the request form on the Keystone RV DIY Repair Program page or contact Owner Relations.
  3. Provide supporting information. Have your VIN, a description of the problem, and clear photos ready.
  4. Confirm the arrangements. Ask about eligibility, materials, instructions, and whether the original part must be returned before starting.

If your RV is outside the applicable warranty terms, an authorized dealer can help with purchasing replacement parts.

When should you use dealer service instead?

DIY work should match your experience and comfort level. Stop if the instructions are unclear, you lack the necessary tools, or the repair becomes more involved than expected.

Work involving 120-volt electrical systems, propane, complete appliance replacement, or other complex systems may not qualify for the program. Contact your dealer to arrange appropriate service rather than attempting unfamiliar work. Get Replacement Parts - Keystone RV

What are the benefits of handling a simple repair yourself?

For suitable projects, DIY repair can reduce travel to a service center and help you become more familiar with your RV. Completing a manageable task can also build confidence for future maintenance.

Parts availability and approval still affect timing, so confirm those details before planning around a repair.
