Each unit is also fitted with "Low-Point" drains, typically located underneath the RV, designed to drain water from the water tank and all lines. Look for the blue (cold) and red (hot) water lines, as well as a white low-point drain for the freshwater tank. Ensure these drains are closed when using the freshwater system to prevent water from draining out the bottom of the unit.

Filling Your Fresh Water Tank

Your approach to using the freshwater system will depend on your camping style. If you're dry camping (without a water supply), you'll need to fill the freshwater tank before arriving at your campsite. Remember that fresh water adds weight to your RV, reducing its Cargo Carrying Capacity by approximately 8.3 lbs. per gallon.

1. ONLY USE POTABLE WATER in the freshwater system. Potable water is safe for drinking.

1. Remove the cap from the exterior connection labeled "Fresh Water Connection."

4. Once full, turn off the water supply immediately to avoid system damage not covered by warranty.

Pressure Water Fill

1. Hook your potable water supply to the city water fill inlet.
2. Turn the valves to the tank fill position and turn on the water supply.
3. Similar to gravity filling, monitor the water level and turn off the supply once full.

Operating the Fresh Water System

After filling the freshwater tank, turn on the water pump, usually located on the monitor panel. The pump activates only when a demand is placed on the system. When you turn on a faucet, the pump will run to provide water, then shut off when the faucet is closed.

Using City Water

If you have a water supply available, connect a potable water hose to the city water fill, which supplies pressurized water directly to your RV, bypassing the freshwater tank.
