Keystone RV Master Technicians Matt and Bart explain how to de-winterize your RV, ensuring it’s ready for the RV season. This guide covers essential steps, including airing out your RV, preparing the water system, and checking appliances, using the Hideout 32LBH as an example. For additional resources, refer to the Owner's Manual.
Important Note: If the water heater pressure relief valve weeps, it’s normal; it indicates the air gap has diminished.
Once the fresh water system is de-winterized, test and operate all appliances to ensure they are in working order. Check safety equipment for proper function. For more information, watch our Safety Devices video or refer to your Owner’s Manual.
Now that your RV is ready for the camping season, enjoy your adventures with confidence knowing you’ve properly de-winterized it!
