We’ll explore two essential features of the iN-Command HVAC system: programming a schedule and setting a backup temperature.
With the iN-Command system, you can manage your HVAC settings either through the Display Commander (DC) in your RV or via the iN-Command App on your smartphone.
Setting a schedule allows you to program an alternate temperature for each zone in your RV. For instance, if you want the RV cooled to 66 degrees by 6:30 PM, you can program the system to start cooling at 5:30 PM.
To disable the schedule:
Note: If the schedule is active, it will run daily. After the scheduled stop time, that zone will turn off and won’t run again until the next scheduled start time.
To prevent the system from shutting off completely after the scheduled time, utilize Mode B. This mode maintains a specified temperature when the schedule is not running.
Now, you have programmed a schedule to cool your RV to 66 degrees from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM, and set Mode B to maintain 72 degrees after the scheduled time. The system will automatically switch to 72 degrees at 10:30 PM until manually changed or until the schedule begins again the next day.
You can always override a schedule by adjusting settings through the DC or the APP, but if you want the schedule to run, you must keep it turned on.
